She's very happy and looking forward! May I ask what's in store for the DSA English students? Thanks!!

Congratulations! Always curious what's the criteria for English Domain, any good tips to share? Did your DD take part in any English Debate, Story Telling or some Essay competition or any other achievements which you think it helps.
Questions in these areas can be asked in many ways. Some questions allow students to share any news item they are familiar with while others are related to specific news events. To answer such questions adequately, students need to keep up with the news on a daily basis. Parents can help by holding discussions about news reports with their child and sharing views and opinions about the matter.

Thanks

To all Primary 6 students who are interviewing with the school of your choice, I wish you the very best. If you do not get an offer from the school, you can always try again in Secondary 2 or submit an appeal to be reconsidered.

Thanks

Thanks! She has taken part in essay and story writing competitions. She was in the creative writing programme run by MOE. And unsw icas. I'm not sure how important these are as compared to school results and performance at interview and and domain test though.
The first thing everyone is required to observe when writing such an important piece of writing is to always understand the writing format even before one thinks of the content to write in that statement. The writing format of personal statements is not that complex and can be obtained through the internet or through previously written statements. Understanding the format is very helpful since one gets to understand how to plan the content one chooses to address in the statement. Failure to follow the correct format would easily translate to someone coming up with a piece of writing that cannot classified as a personal statement and this will eventually result to the cancellation of one’s admission application, and it doesn’t matter whether it’s direct school admission or UCAS application.

My DD got a WL for RGS DSA, English domain. Hope it can turn into a CO in Nov after PSLE results.

May I know what is the minimum T-score for those given a CO by RGS? What is the COP for last year?

COP for last yr was 260. This year's COP should be quite close.
There are very many scenarios when you may be required to write a personal statement and it all depends on the different types of applications one may be making at that particular time. If you are making an admission application to join a college in Singapore, you will be required to write an application personal statement to show your urgent need of wanting to join that medical school. However, there will be very many features of a personal statement that you will need to follow if you are to be successful in writing a personal statement that is able to impress the people behind the granting of admission letters. If you have no idea on what you need to do to ensure this happens, you should not have any worries as the main point behind the writing of this post is to make sure that students are able to understand how to write a DSA personal statement and consequently gain the ability and skills to write quality personal statements with ease.
